In the second year of building the online security and privacy community, the organization Nexus launched a major awareness campaign on the topic of "Security and Privacy in Social Networks." This campaign, which ran for several months, had the main goal of educating and sensitizing young people about the challenges and dangers that come from the careless use of social networking platforms.
At a time when social networks have become an integral part of our lives, this campaign addressed key issues such as privacy issues, misuse of data, and the dangers children and young people face online. Through this initiative, participants were introduced to technological innovations, controversies related to online security, as well as solutions and precautions they should take to protect their privacy.
